Mini Trek & Caving – Tiscali Sinkhole
A wild adventure combining the thrill of underground exploration with the beauty of hiking through the Supramonte mountains. The Tiscali Sinkhole, locally known as Su Oda Cave, is a must-see destination for anyone seeking an active and unforgettable outdoor experience.
What will you see during a caving excursion in Tiscali?
The journey begins aboard our comfortable 8-seat Land Rover vehicles. We will cross the beautiful Lanaitho Valley while our expert guides introduce you to the remarkable geological and natural features that make this landscape so unique.
Once we reach the trailhead, we’ll begin our mini trek through the spectacular Goroio Canyon (Olojos), surrounded by the untouched wilderness of the Supramonte of Oliena.
After approximately 45 minutes of hiking, we arrive at the enormous entrance of the Tiscali Sinkhole.
If visited during late spring, nature offers one of its most magical performances: a beam of sunlight penetrates through the ceiling opening, nearly 100 meters above, creating a dramatic shaft of light that illuminates the immense underground chamber.
A truly breathtaking atmosphere that feels almost unreal and leaves a lasting memory.
