Mare e Montagna Excursion to Cala Luna

Along the trail, you’ll encounter ancient shepherd huts (ovili), natural rock arches, and panoramic vistas over the majestic cliffs and canyons of the Golfo di Orosei, before unwinding on the beach, surrounded by its famous grottoes.

• Total Duration: Approximately 5 hours to the beach, with about 3 hours of actual hiking.
• Difficulty: Suitable for physically fit hikers, with some challenging downhill sections.
• Return Journey: By inflatable boat (gommone) from Cala Luna to Cala Gonone, adding a touch of maritime adventure to the experience.

• Clothing: Sturdy trekking shoes and season-appropriate attire.
• Gear: At least 2 liters of water per person, sunscreen, a hat, and a small snack.

  Start at 8:00 AM from Cala Gonone in a Land Rover jeep, heading toward the Supramonte di Baunei, one of the most spectacular and untamed areas of the Golfo di Orosei.
