Crystal Cave Trekking Experience
Deep within the heart of Dorgali’s Supramonte mountains, caves are far more than simple rock formations. They are hidden worlds preserving ancient mining traces, prehistoric shelters, sacred places and underground water systems shaped by nature over thousands of years.

Among these natural treasures stands Crystal Cave — undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and spectacular places in the entire Dorgali area.
Located in the eastern side of the Supramonte, the cave is reached through an easy and scenic hike of approximately 35 minutes. Along the trail, visitors are immersed in untouched Mediterranean landscapes where ancient juniper trees, wild olive trees and ferns fill the air with their unmistakable scents.
Upon reaching the entrance, the sparkle of quartz crystals offers a first glimpse of the wonder hidden inside.
The cave extends for nearly 300 meters and stepping inside feels like entering a natural Gothic cathedral sculpted by time itself. Stalactites, stalagmites, massive columns, delicate curtains, flowstones and unusual rock formations come alive under the light, creating a surreal underground landscape.
Here, absolute silence becomes part of the experience itself, allowing a deep connection with nature and the earth.
